Net Worth TX meeting

Headed out this morning to our second in a series of three breakfast net worth meetings to hear Dr. John Tolson again!

Well, that last blog was...

Not good. Actually to finish, or start... sitting in austin traffic and needed something to do so...will be at tx assoc realtors business meetings till next tue, lots going on...eminent domain, budget deficit, taxs, home owners assoc stuff, etc. Also have been keeping watch on ex real estate fees some at
State want to add to sellers-buyers closing costs.

Real Estate marketing class

Really had a fun time yesterday teaching using twitter for our business. I really only know about 5 minutes worth of stuff but managed to stretch it out to an hour!! 

I understand that 19 were in the class and even had 2 affiliates interested in using social media, especially twitter, to promote themselves and their business.

One of my points was that social media is great but it is not to take the place of good of fashioned face to face interaction, but it sure can be used as a way to get there! But, even if I never get to meet some folks in person that I've developed an online communication with, at least getting to know and share with them that way is better than not ever having that opportunity.

Looks like we are planning a second class in couple weeks to get a little deeper into setting up and promoting/branding online and, I believe the most important aspect, incorporating all this into our business plan. Maybe a new concept but let's run our business like a business and use our business time wisely, that way we have more quality time with our family, and ourselves.

Day after

Thank you for ALL the birthday wishes!!

It is no chore for me to write and say thank you again to all the wonderful folks that have wished me a happy birthday. Many are the same ones that have stood by me and made sure I was doing okay through trials that I've had. 

I've also noticed that many that have done this have and are even now going through trials of their own. That reminds me of the Scripture...no greater Love than this...

Romans 10:23-25.  V.24-and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds

I love waking up with the Word on my heart and mind, and this is the Scripture I woke up to on this birthday day:

Psalm 139:14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.

A day inside...all day???

Man, it is cold out there. Made the mistake of walking out in back to feed birds without getting bundled up good first. I noticed the birds did not care, just through out that food Dude! Poet and didn't know it? 

I'm very thankful for my business and several new listings for January. All my Internet marketing done on the newest listings and now already have cabin fever, but don't believe I'll get out today!
