Confess what the Word says...NOT what the circumstance says...

Psalm 45:1 My heart overflows with a good theme (a good speech, a good word, a good thing, a good utterance); I address (to say, to speak, to utter, to think, to say in one's heart) my verses (my deeds, my work, my business, my pursuit and achievements) to the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready and skillful writer.

Through out the Bible there is basic foundational teaching of the correlation between the heart and the mouth. The importance of establishing the Word, or Jesus in our hearts and the the power of confession out of our mouth! Evidence this in the foundational Scripture of leading folks to the Lord used in Romans 10:9,10. Of course those verses don't just stop after you get born again. No, they continue through our walk, hopefully to maturity because the word for salvation also means deliverance! Notice the wordage in 1 Cor. 1:18 and 2 Cor. 3:18 as examples.

So many more verses but here are just a few more...

Joshua 1:8

Proverbs 18:21
